The Dawg House- Garage apartment on farm near UGA

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Our son attends UGA and we realize how difficult it is for families to find lodging to visit their students. Our garage apartment is the perfect place to stay when coming into town for events. Local dining is 10-17 minutes away and UGA is 17 miles with a typically thirty minute drive. Come see your student and then go antique shopping, hiking, or enjoy local festivities. The space Our beautiful front porch overlooks our pond that houses a goose and duck, our fire pit is perfect to cook s’mores, our creek and woods path behind the home is a relaxing setting, and the beautiful pastoral driveway down the front of the farm is home to our horses and our cow, Cindy Lou Moo, who loves getting pats and giving kisses. Guest access Guests will have access to the garage apartment located over our oversized 2 car garage. The stairs are steep. The apartment’s entry is through our garage with an exterior door with a keypad. There is also a keypad entry directly on the apartment door. We will be sharing a driveway, but there is ample guest parking for 2 vehicles or a car and small Uhaul in the circular driveway in front of our house. Other things to note Please let us know how you would like the apartment set up prior to your arrival. We can leave the futon in the bedroom as pictured, or install the full sized bed where the futon is and move the futon to the wall where the phone is pictured in the kitchen area. If you will be out walking the property or using the fire pit, please just let us know so that it is not our German Shepherd notifying us first.
