Listen to the soothing sound of the backyard creek, while you unwind at this peaceful, private and cozy cottage. We are located a short walk from Flume beach and are central to an extensive network of mountain biking and hiking trails. Roberts Creek town centre and Wilson Creek Plaza are a 2-5 min drive away. This tastefully decorated 3 bedroom cottage is nestled amongst the trees with it’s own backyard creek with mini waterfalls and a passenger bridge. It has an open concept living, dining room and kitchen with high ceilings throughout. You can step right outside to your private backyard with a large patio, furnished with a dining table and several lounging options providing either sun or shade. Guests have exclusive use of the cottage and it’s private backyard. The path to the passenger bridge is shared between the cottage and the main house; however, the guest cottage backyard will not be used by the host to access the bridge. We live in the main house, right next to the guest cottage and are happy to assist when needed, but will otherwise respect your privacy. Flume beach and Roberts Creek Provincial Park Picnic Ground are a short walk away. There is an easy access point (drive down to unload) to launch your kayak or paddle board from. Roberts Creek town centre is less then 2km away and has the Gumboot cafe and restaurant, various other stores and the well known Roberts Creek Pier. Sharkey’s Fish and Chips (open seasonally) is a couple of streets over and the golf course and Cliff Gilker Park with it’s beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails are also just a couple of km away. We are central to an extensive network of hiking and mountain biking trails. The grocery store (IGA), pharmacy, liquor store, outdoor adventure store, cafe and restaurants are located in Wilson Creek, a 5min drive away. The bus stop is very close by as an alternative to driving. Guests may park right in front of the cottage, or to the left hand side of the driveway. There is a steep drop off to the creek. For your safety, you must remain on the designated paths. Children and pets must never be left unattended. The living room features a 55” HD smart TV, so you can sign into your Netflix, Amazon prime or other streaming account (don't forget your password), or choose from basic cable with on demand options. Our cottage is family friendly and we happily welcome infants and toddlers. Amenities for young children include a pack n’ play (up to 33lbs) baby blanket/pillow as well as a high chair. Please note that the cottage is not 100% baby-proofed with outlet covers, corner covers, e.t.c. You agree to use the children’s amenities at your own risk. We have a friendly Lab/Bernese dog living with us. There is a motion sensor security camera overlooking the parking area. There are NO other cameras on the property anywhere inside or outside. Please note that the kitchen does not have a dishwasher. The bathroom is a three piece, including a stand-up shower, toilet and sink. There is a washer and dryer in unit for your use.
