Located in one of Lander's original buildings, built in 1886, this space features original trim, hardwood floors, tall ceilings, & huge windows balanced by a modern kitchen & bath, and eclectic decor. Enjoy the light-filled space or close the room-darkening curtains to sleep in. You will be within walking distance of fabulous restaurants, art galleries & shops. This is a 2nd story space accessible by stairs. *Please note the wood floors were cleaned and sealed to retain their vintage and worn look. It is part of the building’s charm. They have not been refinished to look new. I am available via text or message to help with anything you may need during your stay. I’m happy to answer questions about the area, hiking spots, fishing access, biking trails or to recommend local favorites for breakfast, lunch & dinner. You can often find me in my art studio or retail shop, Rebound: the Art of Repurposing, located on the ground level of the same building. Urban Homestead is in the heart of downtown Lander in the Lander Art District. You'll be able to walk to many of Lander’s local shops, art galleries, movie theater and eateries safely during the day or night. Then come back to Urban Homestead to enjoy quiet relaxation with a view of the stars. Lander’s downtown area is walkable. Street parking is free with some areas restricted to 2 hours on weekdays 8am-5pm. Urban Homestead is located on the 2nd floor of a two story building and is accessible only by stairs. The stairwell is very wide with two flights broken up by a landing with chairs. The door to the stairwell is locked and accessible by code. The entry alcove and stairwell are well lit for safe entry after dark. The main entry and stairwell is shared with one other apartment that is also listed on Airbnb.
