Unlike other rentals, the furniture was incredibly comfortable for relaxing and the kitchen had everything, including great appliances. Despite being told to bring some things, previous guests all paid it forward by leaving supplies (soap, garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, clean products). All the bedrooms had great views and as I am typing, a huge part of me is wishing I wasn't saying all these great things b/c I don't want to learn that it's sold out next year when we want to return.” “We rented the Escape Hatch for the last week of June 2016, and it was perfect for our family reunion. The 6 bedrooms and 4 baths were great for our group of 15. The open floor plan of the main level made meals and gatherings easy, and we made full use of the deck furniture and screen porch. The air hockey table and fire-pit were used quite a bit. The linens were perfect, and they had plenty of towels available. The best part was the roomy dock, and the lake temperature was perfect for swimming and floating together. It was so helpful to have the second fridge/kitchen area on the lower floor, and the fridge at the dock.”
