The cabin is located in Hafslo in beautiful surroundings overlooking the beautiful Hafslovatnet, at Sogn ski center. The cabin has four bedrooms, a large kitchen. Two living rooms; Private TV room with sliding door, and a quieter living room area overlooking Hafslovatnet, Solvornsnipa, Haugmelen and Storehaugen Two bathrooms; the main bathroom has a washing machine. There are great cross-country ski trails, free-riding areas, mountain hikes and ski slopes nearby. Nice hiking terrain The cabin area and infrastructure are under development. Here there is a good possibility for drying hiking equipment/clothes after a trip in the beautiful surrounding area of Lykkebu! In the gapahuk you will find lights and outdoor furniture! The outdoor area is flat, with easy access and there are good parking facilities in the yard. Wi-Fi/TV, firewood and electricity included. All beds will be made and towels are included. (1 large and 1 small) Let us know if you need a high chair/baby cot Animals/smoking are not allowed in Lykkebu. It is not possible to charge the car in Lykkebu - the nearest charging is in Sogndal or Gaupne 10-15 minutes from the cabin! The cabin is located close to Sogn ski center (Heggmyrane), here there are also great cross-country ski trails, free-riding areas, top tours and downhill slopes nearby. In summer there is a great hiking area, with good trails for hiking and cycling. From the cabin you can see the mountain Molden (1116 m above sea level) which gives you a fantastic view of the landscape with green fjord and white mountain peaks. This is a mountain hike that is suitable for the whole family Bicycle trail right next to the cabin. If you want to explore Sognefjorden, there are possibilities to rent a kayak! It is also possible to participate in cruises! In Jostedalen there are spectacular mountain formations and opportunities for great hikes. Drive to Vanndalsvatnet and walk up to the highest peak, Vangsen (1757 m). There are also roads to cultural landscapes in Vigdalen and Krundalen. Austerdalsbreen on Veitastrond and Nigardsbreen in Jostedalen are two of the most beautiful and easily accessible glaciers in Norway. If you want longer trips, Mørkridsdalen and Fortunsdalen are two classic areas for mountain trips at the innermost part of Lustrafjorden, about 40 min from the cabin. Hurrungane and Turtagrø are about 40 minutes from the cabin. Krossbu is about 1 hour from the cabin, here you can reach the peaks Smørstabbtind, Storebjørn and Veslebreatind in addition to several others. Leirdalen is approx. 30 min from the cabin, here you can reach fantastic peaks such as Hest and Grøndalseggi, Lustrabadet in Gaupne is about 10 min from the cabin. Solvorn has a beach, Cafe, art gallery and is located about 15 min from the cabin. Here you can also take the ferry to the south side of Lustrafjorden, where Urnes Stave Church is located. Hafslovatnet has fishing opportunities (must have a fishing license), swimming, rental of paddle boards, boat, e-bike, etc. Kaupanger - trail biking, mountain hikes, pump track, Frøsbeegolf, diving tower, ferry ride (Gudvangen) Sogndal - shopping, swimming areas, playgrounds, culture and football We have 3 pcs. crampons, avalanche kits and ice axes that you can rent if needed.
