There is also an additional downstairs powder room. Both of the bathrooms have large soaking bathtubs and high shower heads that take full advantage of the tall 10' ceilings (one of the bathrooms has a separate curb-less walk in shower too!). Perfect home for a special celebratory trip, 2 couples, families with teenagers, or 4 close friends. (Please note that due to safety concerns with the open railing on the 2nd floor no children under the age of 15 are allowed to stay in the home.) Having both eastern and western views ensures that the house can be bathed in natural light throughout the day. Thick curtains ensure a restful nights sleep in the bedrooms and privacy in the downstairs living spaces. We have in each bedroom a Levoit HEPA air purifier, and a Shark air purifier 4 in the home with an Anti-Allergen HEPA Filter that captures airborne allergens, dust, dander, and particles. While we have always prided ourselves on having a clean and welcoming home, we are providing enhanced measures to keep our home safe and you healthy for your stay. As always, all linens (towels, duvets, blankets, etc..) are cleaned and sanitized prior to each guest stay. There is a free standing air purifier in the home that can be adjusted to keep the inside air fresh and clean. We also provide you with our Safe and Sound amenity package in the home for our guests; including a full supply of toilet tissue, Kleenex, disinfectant wipes & sprays, plenty of hand soap and hand sanitizer. Building practices were very different in 1892 when the home was built so during the renovation we inserted rockwool insulation and 2 layers of sheetrock for both sound and fireproofing. Maps, guidebooks, and local Savannah periodicals will keep you abreast of that all Savannah and the low country have to offer during your stay. The bedrooms feature black out curtains, extra pillows, bathrobes in the closets, and closets for you to unpack and spread out. The 2 en suite bathrooms feature extra large soaking bathtubs, overhead showers, plush towels & body products provided. Downstairs is the full gourmet kitchen with large Island, living room with 55" Smart TV; Complimentary wine, coffee & tea, cokes & water (filtered from the fridge) is stocked in the home. The 1/2 bath and full sized washer and dryer with laundry detergent is located in the downstairs hallway. Your fully enclosed private patio courtyard is at the rear of the home. Wifi provided. Oven Safety: The home is equipped with a high end 5 burner Kitchen-Aid gas range for optimal cooking performance. The simmer setting for delicate sauces is so low, that it is important that when you are finished cooking to be sure that the burners are actually turned to the off position - as you will not see the flame in that setting. Your safety matters. There is a rear camera pointing at the door to the private back garden for security purposes. It does not cover the patio furniture area or have audio capabilities. There are no cameras inside the house or looking into any interior spaces. The glass french doors in the kitchen are permanently locked. To enter the back courtyard there is a back door at the end of the main hallway. Luggage drop off OR Early check-in OR Check-in after 11pm; fee of $75 Luggage drop or Early check-ins prior to 3pm may be available for purchase 24 hours before the start of your stay & must be arranged 24 hours in advance. Can't be approved the same day as check-in date. Late night check-in fee will be required to be paid prior to arrival. We will do our best to get service restored if there is an outage, but cannot guarantee that, nor can we compensate guests experiencing an outage. Due to living in the Historic District, crazy things happen. Power can go out even on a sunny day! No refunds will be provided if the power has an interruption due to anything beyond my control.
