This an old historic home that use to be an old girls boarding school in the 1900. It was converted into condos and my place has been recently renovated with large Windows, plenty of light, large kitchen, central air and a large private patio with a shared yard. We live on a serene quiet street but also walking distance to everything Hyde park has to offer. This home is fully equipped for a family-friendly stay! We offer bunk beds, a Pack ‘n Play, high chairs, booster seats, toys, and books—all thoughtfully provided to make traveling with kids easier. Outside, enjoy a spacious yard with a charming playhouse and a garden, creating the perfect setting for your family to feel right at home, even while you’re away. We are only 10 minutes walking distance from the University of Chicago. Within walking distance of Lake Michigan, one block away from Trader Joe’s and a few blocks from Target. Located on a quiet residential street - only one block south of 53rd street, the main thoroughfare, full of interesting restaurants, shops and bars. One block from the 55 and 171 bus lines that go directly to the University of Chicago and a 5 min. walk to the 6 bus that goes direct to downtown Chicago. The 55 bus goes directly to Midway airport and O’Hare is also easily reachable by public transportation. The University shuttle passes right in front of the house. Our space has a king bed that sleeps 2, bunk beds that can sleep 2 adults, a cot for a child and a pack and play for an infant (upon request) We also have a twin mattress we can put on the floor and air mattress and cozy couch with a chase.
