Description
Connect with nature in comfort in this tranquil riverside glamping dome. The dome is located along Elbow River at a 200 acre family-owned Indigenous campground. Includes a firepit, picnic table, and your own outdoor porta-lu washroom. Please note: This is still a rustic, off-grid camping experience. You will need to drive on a gravel road approximately 1km to reach the campsite. There are 5 other domes on site. The space *This is an off-grid experience and the outlets are 12 volt only (no regular charging)—a solar powered wireless cell charger is provided *There are curtains that you can pull across to cover the main bay window WINTER STAYS (Sept 15th-June 15th): **Winter Interior Heating: Wood Stove** *For adventure lovers only *The heat source is in the winter is a wood stove, and wood is included with your stay from Sept 15-June 15 (please note that it is NOT pre-heated, you will have to heat it yourself upon arrival. It can take 1-2 hours to heat). Wood is for the interior stove only, not the outdoor fire. Please bring your own if you'd like to have an outdoor fire. *The shower remains closed during the winter and you'll need to bring in your own drinking water *We highly recommend bringing an AWD/4x4 vehicle in the winter *We highly recommend arriving early in the winter if possible (between 4-6pm) *If the temperature is forecasted below -15 Celcius, you can choose to have a full refund, so long as you notify us three days before your stay (if you choose to stay you'll need to come prepared with extra warm clothing) *Important to bring layers and warm clothes *Solar electricity included, including USB port for cell charging and wireless cell charger SUMMER STAYS (June 15th-Sept 15th): *Great for anyone who likes the outdoors *Propane heated outdoor shower and rain canopy provided *Wood is not provided June 15-September 15 *12 Volt solar power, including cell charging USB port
