Easy Sightseeing! The space This classic English basement is the ground floor of a 4 story, turn of the century, Victorian row house. As a basement apt, It is cool in summer and has AC, but can be chilly in the winter though there are new electric baseboards which you control. The neighborhood is lush, family-friendly, and close to everything. The apt is newly updated with a kitchen and in-unit laundry. It has two entrances, both front and back. There is street parking, but private parking in our carport is also available for $10 per day. Guest access There is a self check-in lock box. The front porch and back garden are not for guest access, however, there is private parking available should guests have a car, and Rock Creek Park as well as multiple cafes and restaurants are nearby should you want to explore the area. Other things to note This part of DC is lush, quiet and there is loads to do. We are only minutes by car or metro to world class sightseeing and a 3000 acre National Park, Rock Creek Park.
