Our newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bath mountain cabin retreat with it’s low-country expansive porch, ~20 foot high cathedral ceilings, open floor plan, large plush u-shaped couch and 70" smart TV, including a gas fireplace for cold winter nights, a master suite with private deck, tons of windows and light, bear themed bunk room, office space, modern boho mountain décor, all the amenities you can imagine, outdoor deck, grill and entertaining area, lush tree-filled grounds, hammock and plenty of wildlife to revel in awe and please even the most discerning guests! Once you arrive at Nature's Wonder Cottage you’ll breathe in the fresh mountain air, easily relax, feel right at home, and create adventures & memories that will last a lifetime! The entire home and surrounding .5 acre property at Nature's Wonder Cottage. Guests also have access to the Towamensing Trails Community grounds including an outdoor pool, 190 acre swimming & boating lake, beach, fishing (permit required), beach volleyball, children's playground, game room, snack bar, and kayak/paddleboat rentals in season. Access to the Marina as well, which includes tennis and basketball courts. Please note there is an additional $25 flat fee that includes eight (8) guest wristbands for access to the community grounds/areas, plus $5 per car for parking/trash passes. Separate payment will be requested via Airbnb after the confirmed booking is received. For stays booked less than 72 hrs in advance, passes can not be guaranteed. Thank you for your understanding! Also, located right in the community and less than 5 minutes from the cabin, Towamensing Trails offers our own private lake, pool and beach, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, ball field and playground. During the summer season kayaks and paddleboats can be rented. The lake is stocked with fish periodically for fishing (permit required). Private boats are allowed on the lake, as long as they are not gas powered and are registered at the Teepee Office. Adjacent to the lake and pool is the Community Center. Here various recreational activities take place, such as deck parties with live music or DJs, seasobal celebrations like Memorial Day and Fourth of July, children and teen activities, and many other events. We have recently added an outdoor pavilion with picnic tables, which has greatly enhanced our community. We also have a snack bar, which is open during the summer season. The lounge serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments and is open to all owners, renters, and authorized guests. At various times meals and snacks are available, along with music and dancing. During good weather many functions are held outside on the deck, which many find most enjoyable. The lounge has both winter and summer hours. All can use the above facilities, but in order to purchase alcoholic beverages, you must be a member of the Trails Lake & Tennis Club (TLTC). Inquire about membership in the Lounge.
