A perfect coastal cabin stop for enjoying sand & sea. Snug, sweet & simple, one of the original railman’s cabins built in 1908 and moved up the hill in 1920s. Nothing fancy & wood stove heated. Yet, still modern too, with big flatscreen & wifi, & washer dryer in the bunk room. Beach just 2 blocks away. The book shelf is loaded & hiking trails abound! Low tech = no worries! Comfy living room & big yard w fire pit for family & friends to relax Get back to more connected times. The space This is a CABIN :) & is heated by a wood stove. Everything you need is here in one petite package. This cabin is over 100 years old, people were smaller & the spaces were too. Galley kitchen, cozy living room with wall tv, & big side yard with charcoal bbq, picnic table, & fire pit w chairs for smores & fireside relaxing. This is a historic, slightly primitive & petite, very lightly updated, cabin with two small full-sized bed bedrooms & a kids bunk room/ laundry room Combo room. This is a clean, intentionally compact, sweetly rustic, (not modern) cabin. A perfect spot to chill & lay your heads as you enjoy your beach days. Plenty of room to gather outside, invite friends to the fire pit, and to bbq . This cabin is heated by a vintage wood stove in the living area, so it is best for folks with wood stove experience, and is not acceptable for small children. Other things to note -The bunk room is the same room as the laundry room -The bunks are vintage, are rated to only 100 lbs, for children and are not suitable for adults -This house was built over 100 years ago when people were a bit smaller. The ceilings are normal not lofty, and the rooms are cabin sized. The kitchen is a galley kitchen and is snug. -We want you to be happy and have fun, so if you are a large or exceptionally tall person, another listing may better suit you
