Welcome to the cutest little bungalow on the block... Beach Break is a light-filled bungalow retreat, thoughtfully designed for your West Coast escape. Tucked just a short stroll from the beach and the heart of Hokitika, this cozy haven welcomes you to unwind in comfort. With lovely linens on comfy beds and an accessible walk-in shower, it’s the perfect base for adventures big or small. The space Step inside and discover a bright, open-plan living space where natural light streams in, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. There’s a hanging chair just waiting for you and your favourite book, while the open layout offers room to relax and reconnect. It is thoughtfully set up for four but if you're travelling with an extra person and would like a bit more space, the fold-out couch is available and can sleep a fifth guest comfortably. A five-minute wander will lead you to the wild shores of the Tasman Sea, or you can explore the charming town centre, where twinkling fairy lights light up the night on the Hokitika boardwalk. The bungalow has ultra-fast Wi-Fi and makes an excellent workspace if you’re mixing business with pleasure. You’ll find restful bedrooms with beautiful linens and a bathroom with a fabulous walk-in shower – perfect for washing away the day’s adventures. Guest access The entire bungalow is yours to enjoy. Off-street parking is provided, and though the driveway is shared, there’s plenty of space and friendly neighbours to make you feel at home. Other things to note Heating: A large heat pump keeps the space toasty and comfortable and the house has double-glazing throughout. Parking: Off Street Parking is available. Part of the driveway is shared but the neighbours Murray and Jan are super lovely. Please check your digital guidebook for exact parking details. TV: The property features a Samsung Smart TV. This has many free apps you can watch or you can log into all your own favourite subscriptions like Netflix, Disney, Prime and more... Yes, we are pet friendly: We understand the joy of travelling with your furry friend, which is why we love to welcome well-behaved and quiet pets that sleep on their own beds. If you know your pooch likes to jump (as we know they sometimes do!), we kindly ask that you bring their own blankets to protect the furniture. Please remember to add your pet to your reservation. We need to account for extra time to deep clean the property to ensure it's spotless and allergy-free and that future pet owners and non-pet owners alike have a wonderful stay. Travelling with an Electric Vehicle? If you’re travelling with an electric car, you're very welcome to charge it here at the property during your stay. Please bring your own charging cable - a longer one can be helpful, as plug access is usually inside the house. There’s also a public charging station nearby at New World Hokitika, in case that’s more convenient for you. Whichever option works best, we hope it helps keep your travels smooth and easy.
