In Chicahauk subdivision of Southern Shores. Big 15’x 36’ pool next door at our residence, shared with us and a our co-hosts at times. We usually only use it when our Blue Turtle guests are not there. Hot tub at Blue Turtle is on second deck, and not shared. Only 10-15 minute walk to Skyline Beach , or 5 minutes drive to the Chicahauk Beach. Easy traffic -free access to nearby shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Dog and family friendly. Access to park with tennis/playground. Blue Turtle Beach House is centrally located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. This comfortable 4BR/3B is fully equipped for a fun and memorable family vacation. Family friendly: we have beach equipment (chairs, cart, umbrellas, boogie board, beach towels). Linens included. Also baby/toddler equipment: high chair, pack and play, child safety locks in kitchen. Dog friendly -see House Rules. Two dogs maximum who meet requirements, no cats or other pets. In our quiet mostly residential neighborhood, you'll be able to relax in your home away from home! Please note that the pool is closed in the winter, usually from November through April. For 2024, the pool will be open the weekend of April 27 through the weekend of October 12. You’ll love it! Entire house, except attic and owners’ locked storage cabinet in hot water heater closet. Pool next door is available anytime from 9am to 9pm. Please call or text Mary soon after arriving. Andy or I can usually meet you at the pool and help orient you to the property and the area. You can also call/text /email me at any time. If you have not already done so, we will come by to roll out trash/recycling cans on Sunday and Thursday, and roll them back on Monday and Friday. Routine pool and hot tub maintenance will be done between the hours of 9 and 5 on Sunday and Wednesday by Lynn’s Pool and Spa. They will not enter the house. Routine yard maintenance will be done biweekly. They will not enter the house. We are in the sought-after Chicahauk subdivision in Southern Shores. There are many beaches, parks, and playgrounds here. It is a ten minute walk to Skyline Beach, and a 5 minute drive to Chicahauk Beach. This is a quiet, residential neighborhood, perfect for families, bike riding and dog walking. You can walk (10 -15 minutes) or drive to one of many private Southern Shores beaches. Grocery stores, Starbucks and Walmart are about a 5 -10 minute drive. You can walk to the Southern Shores Crossing Shopping Center, (20 minute walk, 5 minute drive), which has a nice large seafood restaurant (Steamers), pizza delivery (Southern Shores Pizza), and to Villae Thai and the Run Down Cafe. Bring your bikes/helmets to explore our many bike paths. And we have Uber/Lyft service, as well as a couple of cab companies. We will give a 5% discount to previous guests.
