Description

Escape to the gorgeous Rocky Mountains and enjoy the simplicity of our glamping getaway. Experience the peace and serenity of mountain life, beautifully tucked in the forest but easily accessible off the Trans Canada highway. At the heart of 6 national parks, its easy to enjoy all that Golden offers with endless bike trails, hiking, paddle boarding, and more. The space Our tenting experience provides newly purchased juno mattresses and queen-sized bedframe, beautiful lighting, screened doors, complete outdoor kitchen set-up and a private fire-pit with outdoor seating. All you need is food and drinks! We provide drinking water and a small tank of water for washing dishes and cleaning. A small cooler is also provided. Connect with nature and embrace the off-grid experience of no wifi or electricity. Enjoy the escape! Please keep in mind this is an outdoor experience. Along with this comes the chance of mosquitoes and other small insects as we are in a forested area of the Rocky mountains. Bring along your bug spray :) Guest access We are only 1 km off the trans canada hwy, approx 20 minutes west of Golden. We provide self check-in so you are welcome to arrive when it suits you best. Other things to note Please be wildlife aware. No food or scented products in tents. Guests must keep all food in their vehicle overnight. There is a quaint little outhouse but no showers, just nearby lakes/rivers for a refreshing dip. Mosquitoes and other insects are a part of camping in the Rocky Mountains. Best to bring bug spray and wear loose-fitting, long pants, shirts, socks and even a hooded jacket or light sweater. We have just recently purchased thermacells and recommend using them for the evening when mosquitoes are often a little worse. Registration Details Provincial registration number: Exempt
