Boho Lake Cottage perfect for Couples Getaway

Are you looking for a quiet getaway, some fun in the sun, a "lake life" retreat? At Shady Lane cottage you can enjoy it all. Our cottage, situated directly on Park Lake, has been newly remodeled (2022) in an upscale boho, eco-friendly design. Enjoy the cozy interior, abundant amenities, and outdoor activities such as kayaking, boating, fishing, swimming, lakeside yoga and bird watching. Relax and enjoy the beautiful views. Located in a quaint community setting within an hour from Madison. The space There is a beautiful living room space with an electric fireplace, a Pottery Barn memory foam queen sleeper sofa (to be used if you have 5 or 6 guests) and Smart TV. The kitchen is well equipped with all the amenities to prepare meals during your stay including a brand new dishwasher, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There are two cozy bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other a double bed. There are also two full bathrooms, one with a walk in shower and the other with both a tub and shower. Facing the lake there is an all window 3 season room perfect for having your morning coffee or evening cocktail all while taking in the spectacular views of the lake and bird wildlife. Enjoy the outdoors which includes a patio with table, chairs, umbrella for outdoor dining and a grill for your summer cook out. There is a pier with seating area to soak up the sun and plenty of yard space to partake in a lakeside yoga session. We have a stone fire pit as well, perfect for enjoying those cooler nights! The cottage includes 4 kayaks, a splash pad, and life jackets. Park Lake is an all sports lake with a public boat landing if you want to bring your own boat. There are also two golf courses within ten minutes! There is plenty to do in the winter months as well with snowmobile trails, ATV approved roadways, ice fishing and close proximity to both Cascade Mountain & Devils Head Ski resorts! There is free parking and includes enough space for two vehicles. We have a strict no smoking and no pet policy. The rate per night reflects the specific amount of guests you select for your reservation. Additional day or overnight guests need to be pre-approved by the host and may incur additional fees.
