The space Seascape is a boutique lodging property featuring 7 motel rooms and 8 cottages on nearly 5 acres of parklike grounds. The property is surrounded by trees and is kept cool by the coastal breeze. The landscape slopes from the woods behind to Route 1, affording views of Penobscot Bay. The motel is in a traditional row layout, with a shared covered front porch. Each cottage has its own private sun deck. Every room has updated paint, lighting, decor, bedding, furniture, and window treatments in 2022. Guest access All rented guest spaces are private. Shared spaces on the grounds include the back lawn, fire pits, walking trail, and the central pool and spa. Rental includes guest passes to Bay Area Fitness, just two doors down. All guests have access to the lending library of games and vinyl records for the cottages (motel rooms do not have record players), as well as to the market. Other things to note Pool and spa (hot tub) opening is subject to weather--we'll keep them open if guests request during a light rain, but will keep them closed during storms. The pool is maintained between 75 and 80 degrees. The hot tub is at 102. Friday and Saturday fire pits are also subject to weather conditions.
