Rock Cottage is a self contained 18th century Somerset cottage located close to the West Somerset beaches and Heritage railway line, conveniently nestled in-between Exmoor National park and the Quantock Hills designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The cottage comprises two bedrooms, one double and a twin. Bathroom including power shower, two reception rooms, fully equipped kitchen and downstairs wc/ cloakroom. The cottage also has a safe self contained south facing courtyard. The space Having moved to the village during 2013, we live next door and have enjoyed this safe quaint location. When Rock cottage came up for sale, we jumped at the opportunity and have lovingly restored the property for others to appreciate and enjoy the local area. Guest access Guests have full independent use of the cottage and courtyard garden. Other things to note The cottage is located at the start / end of the historic West Somerset Mineral line path between Lower Washford and Watchet, opposite Old Cleeve Primary school. There is parking in Huish Lane, or alternatively, 50m away, there is off-road parking in the Washford Memorial Hall car park for a modest charge to the honesty box. There is also a charging point here for electric vehicles. The village has a small Post Office incorporating a general store. The village is also lucky to still have an idyllic 18th century free house pub and restaurant within 15 minutes walking, which is also set on the banks of the Washford River. The is also the English Heritage Cistercian abbey of Cleeve located again within 15 minute’s walking. Also we are very lucky to have the traditional Torre Cider making farm attraction on our doorstep..
