Kingfisher Lakeside Cabin in Countryside (age 12+)

Welcome to Wild Escapes, Kingfisher Lodge is a new woodland eco friendly glamping site set amid three lakes in the Cheshire countryside. This idyllic space is all you need to get total peace, tranquility and to be in the middle of nature with spectacular views across the lakes On the outskirts of Wrenbury village and on the Llangollen canal, our spacious cabin can provide you the perfect glamping experience. Inside you will find a double bed, dining area, storage space and a sofa bed. The space The Kingfisher cabin is set in two acres of woodland which includes three ponds making it a quite unique place to stay. The space is shared with another cabin and a bell tent where other guests may be staying, but you will certainly not be on top of one another with the closest being approximately 50m away. The ponds are stocked with fish, mainly carp, and fishing is permitted so long as anything caught is returned to the water no holding nets or ground bait and please use barbless hooks. You have access to your own firepit and outdoor seating area, complete with a cable reel drum table and log seats. In addition to the private bathroom area, there is also a communal flushing toilet further away from the cabin. Bedding and towels are provided for your stay. Guest access Parking is available in our car park at the entrance to the site, this is approximately a 100-150m walk to the cabin. Keys will be left in a lockbox for you to access and any codes needed to get through the gates will be provided. Other things to note No food is provided other than basics (salt, pepper, teabags, sugar), but there is a cool box for you to use inside the cabin Please be aware that the cabin has no electricity (and additionally no wifi), other than for the lighting. We therefore advise that you bring your own power banks if you wish to charge phones and laptops. Lights work off a battery that will be full on arrival, but if lights are left on for excessive periods then it may run flat. Please also be advised that there is no heating, but blankets and hot water bottles are provided. The ponds are not fenced off and are very deep, therefore this cabin is NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. Life rings are provided in case of emergency. Smoking is allowed OUTSIDE ONLY Wrenbury can be accessed either by a very short drive, or 20-minute walk along the canal or by footpath across the fields. Nantwich is the nearest town and is a 10-minute drive away, and slightly further afield are Chester and Shrewsbury.
