Come take a load off and absorb the myriad facets our space shares: food forests, ponds and aquaponics, bees, chickens, vermiculture, rain catchment, grey water and irrigation systems, greenhouse n treehouse while enjoying the Cottage's simple welcoming beauty The space The Homestead Sanctuary is an intentional community family of 4 adults, give or take, which hosts a plethora of permaculture Magic: food forests, ponds and aquaponics, chickens and their diverse habitat, grey water repurposing systems, rain catchment, vermiculture, hügelculture, our Greenhouse ZenLounge loved to life almost entirely with repurposed materials, welcoming communal spaces including a multi-purpose Loft with balcony, a backyard covered patio lounge space, treehouse nests, trampoline and more! Guest access Our Cottage is a quaint and welcoming tiny home converted from a once upon a time garage. Kitchenette with sink and dual hotplate, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster oven, blender, a wood burning stove and more. The bathroom has an on demand propane heated shower, NO toilet a toilet. The head clearance in the kitchenette and bathroom is Hobbit~hole~esque, 5 foot 9 inch freeflow, and 6 foot head space between the loft's joists... You will be using our comminity bathroom for your potty needs. Our guests are welcome to all our community spaces: main kitchen and dining room, sitting room, community bathrooms, multipurpose loft with balcony, backyard covered patio, our gardens, outdoor cool plunge pool, our bicycles-including a tandem. Other things to note Our space is lovely, organic, precious. Not pish posh, fancy pantsie, brand new everything. we reduce, reuse, repurpose the vast majority of our amenities and infrastructure. We want to help you see what that looks and feels like. We are here to make you feel welcome and comfortable, please communicate your needs if they are not being met!
