Private Campsite with Bathrooms and Amazing Views

If you enjoy relaxing by the campfire and the sounds of nature-this is the place for you! Welcome to private camping for up to 6 people, with great views of the valley, and minutes from the Park . We accept camping with tents, hammocks, car/truck tents, small pop-up or teardrop campers. Any camper must be smaller than 15 ft to make a tight turn into the campsite. There are table & chairs, firepit w/some firewood provided, outdoor games and a bathroom trailer w/ shower. The space Our campsite is a slightly sloping lot surrounded on 3 sides with a wooden privacy fence. The ground is very firm, and sometimes bumpy - so some padding or an air mattress could be helpful to allow comfort if you're sleeping on the ground. There is a gravel area next to the wishing well to park your car, and/or your small camper. There is NO SEPTIC hookup. Adjacent to the campsite, slightly down the hill, is the bath house, with two toilets and one shower ; the water is not drinkable - so please bring drinking water. Next to the bath house is a small shed where games are available... there is cornhole, an outdoor-sized Jenga set, and a roped golf-ball toss game. Depending on the weather, there is a hammock which may be out, and also a ring - hook game attached to the large maple tree. There is a picnic table with bench seating, and of course , a rock fire pit for campfires with a few chairs. We will provide some firewood and kindling...if you would like more, there are bundles available for a small fee ($5) in the same shed as the games on the other side - its on the honor system. This is a digital detox site - so there is no wifi available. The National Park is within 15-20 minutes via Metcalf Bottoms thru the middle of Wears Valley. Pigeon Forge is about 15-20 minutes away, depending on traffic. Gatlinburg is 25-30 minutes with normal traffic.
