A cosy, pleasant & quiet single bedroom for the solo traveller. Tea and coffee facilities, toiletries and hairdryer as well as towels and bedding are provided. Wardrobe and drawer storage also. Bathroom is shared with the homeowners and up to 3 other guests. The front bedroom faces a primary school. The on street parking area is in the rear cul de sac. Eating/drinking spots a 5 min bus ride away & city centre is 30-45 mins by bus. Taxi about 15 mins. Our house is in a quiet council estate. The space We live in the house. We have a small, elderly dog as part of our family but she won't bother you during your stay. We share the bathroom space with any guests. 2 single and 1 double bedroom is air bnb listed so up to 4 adult guests. Car parking is at the rear in the cul de sac. Guests have a front door key. We'll meet you on arrival to welcome you, get you settled in and give you the front door key. If you've any questions in best things to do or getting around while you're in Cardiff we're happy to help. Our house is in a council estate. It's built up but quiet. Bars, cafes and restaurants are a 5 minute bus ride away. The city centre bus ride is 30-45 minutes. There is a wood and lake within walking distance. Most of our guests typically stay a night or two for visiting family, concerts and sporting events in the City Centre getting a bus or taxi around. We also have guests who stay for work with an easy driving commute to the City Centre and the M4. We're also very near the University of Wales Heath Hospital and a easy drive to Cardiff Bay. Guest access You have your own bedroom and use of the shared bathroom. These are both on the first floor of the house up a flight of stairs. You can also use the front and back gardens. During your stay We welcome you on arrival and settle you into your room. We'll give you a front door key and help with any questions you may have and explain check out. If you have any questions before or during your stay you can call or message us and we'll always do our best to help. Otherwise we'll leave you to come and go as you please. Other things to note We don't allow non paying guests or visitors. Legal smoking or vaping is allowed but only outside in the back or front garden. You can come and go as you please but as we live here, have neighbours or sometimes other guests we'd politely ask you to be mindful not to disturb especially after 11pm or before 7am. Shoes shouldn't be worn upstairs in the carpeted areas please. When you go out please make sure you've closed your window and locked the front door going in and out. If we miss you on departure please lock the door and post the key through the letterbox. We've an elderly and nervous dog, Tilly. She won't bother you and doesn't go into guest rooms. The bathroom is cleaned by us daily. There is also cleaning materials available for you to use too if you wish before or after use.
