This small remodeled home is located on a farm close to town. It is has some traffic noises. You will hear farm tools and farm animals. Enjoy nature and city sights of Rome, while also resting well and enjoying fishing, swimming and farm animals. You will find some original features in the home, mostly renovated. The space This space is a remodeled old farm house. It has old wooded floors and pine paneling, you may have seen as a child. There are two bedrooms and upstairs, a loft for children, weight limit 100lbs. It’s a small child size loft and child size stairs leading to it. With the space you can fill out a waiver for pond access, play area, and get to love on farm animals. There is front yard to play in and lots of side yard. The side yard may be shared by other guests nearby. You can find the pond by following the small gate and wooden fencing to the left of the barn area. This path takes you to a bridge that leads to the pond. If you have multiple cars, you may park in the green area to the left of the driveway or even pull in and out that way if needed. Guest access The only shared spaces are outside. Your front yard is private. Backyard is a garden space used by the owner. Other things to note Don’t use google maps to find us. For whatever reason it sends you down the road past us. If coming from downtown, pass the school and get ready first a left turn onto a small road that runs parallel to the main road. If you are coming from the other direction, pass the Alto park and keep coming. Turn right before the school. There are Garden classes on Monday mornings June-July 2025 at 9AM in the backyard. There is only one window on this side of the house and there is a heavy curtain over the window.
