The Workman's Cottage at Dalmore Farm is a beautifully restored century old 3-bedroom home perfect for peaceful romantic escapes or adventure filled family holidays. One of Bridgetown's oldest private estates, Dalmore is a working family farm that also hosts weddings and special events. Situated on 250 acres only 15 minutes from town, the farm is convenient but secluded. With its restored shearing shed, custom pool and yoga/gym space, Dalmore is the ideal country retreat. The space The cottage has 3 bedroom, a lounge, kitchen and bathroom. it is 130-years old and has been restored in keeping with its original floor plan. Guest access Guests are welcome to explore the grounds and we always offer all guests a farm tour upon arrival. We ask guests respect the fact that we also live on the property with our children and animals. Guests are welcome to use the pool at their own risk. Children under 12 must be supervised at all times and a waiver must be signed upon arrival. Other things to note Please note, the Workman's Cottage at Dalmore Farm is over a century old. As such, it does not have air condition, television, wi-fi or other modern amenities. It is beautifully furnished and filled with character. There are lovely walks to take, board games to play and many animals to visit. Beautiful Bridgetown with her cafes, shops, wineries and art galleries is just a short 15 minute drive from the front gate. On summer days, the cottage can be warm inside. We do provide standing fans, but please be advised that on very hot days, it does get hot in the house. Bridgetown is always lovely and cool in the evenings, but guests with heat sensitivity are advised to opt for Spring, Autumn or Winter stays. Registration Details STRA62551NA22511
