The Coast House! Breathtaking Views on the Beach!

Welcome to The Coast House! Our lovingly and beautifully renovated slice of heaven on the peaceful and picturesque Mutiny Bay.  We hope you’ll make as many great memories here as our family has! The moment you round the corner and open the door to this beach retreat, you’ll exhale and feel a world away.  Wall to wall windows of the second floor great room area offer views of the Sound, the Olympic Mountains and breathtaking sunsets.    The space The Coast House is located directly on the private sandy beach of the Bay – one of the few sandy beaches on the Puget Sound and one of the most desirable on Whidbey Island. Walk the beach and search for sea glass and other treasures, track the tides and search for ocean life during low tide or simply relax on the expansive deck and a breath in the calm and beauty the water brings as the local Eagles and Osprey fly overhead. You’ll find The Coast House filled with all the comforts and amenities you could wish! A well appointed kitchen with all of the tools you’ll need to do anything from baking cookies to making a Holiday meal.  A stainless steel outdoor gas grill and a variety of high end small kitchen appliances make entertaining your family as easy as if you were at home.  (If there’s something specific you’d like to have available during your stay, please let us know, chances are we can provide it.) Four bedrooms and 2 Baths: Two bedrooms (1 King and 1Full/1 Twin)and one bathroom are located upstairs with two bedrooms (1 Queen, 1 Queen) and one bathroom along with a large entertaining space on the lower level make this a great set up for multiple families. Located in the town of Freeland, The Coast House is a convenient 20 minute drive from the Clinton Ferry terminal and a great central location to the rest of the Island. There is a local grocery store just over a mile away and restaurants nearby, we’ll be sure to tell you our favorites!  The bay is great for water enthusiasts; bring your kayaks, paddle boards and fishing poles! Additional amenities include: Gas fireplaces on both levels, WiFi, TV with Roku stick, Washer/Dryer, Bose Bluetooth speaker, bedrooms furnished with Purple mattresses.
