You can also enjoy exploring the area around your camp and find many relics from the original tin mill that was located on the property. But please leave them for future campers to discover. We also backup to national forest so you can hike straight out of your camp. We are 12 miles from Mount Rushmore and 10 to Crazyhorse. We are 5 miles from the Needles Highway which goes directly into Custer State Park.
