Small and cozy apartment in the pearl of Eyjafjörður

Enjoy all that Hrísey has to offer! The house was built in 1928 and has a great history. There is a double room with a double bed, a space in the living room with two beds and a sofa bed in the living room. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower. There is access to a garden and outside you can enjoy the view. The swimming pool is in the next house and shops and restaurants are nearby. Five minutes walk to and from the ferry. Enjoy Hrísey Island! Beds for up to 6 people, only a 5-minute walk from the ferry. The space English below// The house Ásgarður was built in 1928. First as a guesthouse offering beer and food, but then became a three-family home. The apartment we offer was formerly the Hrísey Savings Bank, among other things. We had the history of the house in mind when we renovated the apartment and mixed old things with new ones. The view from the apartment is magnificent, overlooking the fjord and the mountains. It is a short distance to shops, swimming and restaurants. Hrísey has marked hiking trails, beautiful nature and friendly locals. The house, Asgardur, was built in 1928. First as a bed and breakfast that offered food and beverage, then a three family home and last, the apartment we have was changed into a small bank. We had the house history in mind when we were fixing it up, kept some of the old original things (like the panel wall and doors) in mix and new floors, kitchen and bathroom. The view from the apartment is spectacular, over the fjord and the mountains. The small local shop, the swimming pool and restaurants are within a short walking distance. We have a large garden that guests have access to, but might run into us there occasionally. The laundry room is accessible by agreement and is an indoor walkway in the apartment. The apartment is in our house but has a separate entrance. The only thing the apartment shares with us is the laundry room. We have a large garden that guests have access to, but sometimes they might meet us out there as it is shared between the apartment and us.
