Catrinandes - Guest hOMe - Oak Tree Room

Here you will find an open, safe and sacred space, a home enveloped by nature that will nurture your mind, body and soul. Quinta Catrinandes is a hOMe, that includes a main house and an adjacent hall - Rose Hall. You will be staying in one of the rooms of the main house. Surrounded by two acres of sacred land, with many oak trees, chestnut & hazelnut trees, eucalyptus & pine trees. Feel the soul of Catrinandes in the seven ancient olive trees that line up facing west towards Serra do Caramulo. The space Catrinandes offers the following rooms to guests: The Olive Trees Room; The Oak Tree Room; The Hazelnut Trees Room; The Pine Tree Room; The Orange Tree Room and The Roots Rooms (a double room with a shared bathroom with a single room, ideal for a family of 3/4). All rooms are located on the first floor where you will also a working space room with a desk overlooking the beautiful eucalyptus and oak trees. Catrinandes is wheelchair friendly and we have a residential elevator in the main house. ROOM AMENITIES All rooms have AC, wall fitted wardrobes, and the beds have new top quality mattresses, linen set of sheets, winter or summer duvets, as well as traditional Portuguese made blankets and good quality pillows. Bath and face towels are provided. Hair dryers are available upon request. All rooms are set up with two single beds that can be made into a double bed with a fitted double top mattress, if needed. The rooms are tastefully decorated with simplicity and love. Guest access ...AND MORE We offer a delicious breakfast included in the price served in the shared dinning area. Guests will also be able to enjoy the spacious living room with its wood burning stove or the outside seating areas and hammocks. Guests are welcome to access the books located in the working space room during their stay. During your stay Helena or Tânia will be staying in a reserved area in the main house during your stay and available to provide any assistance needed. Other things to note We have bicycles available for rent. In the Rose Hall, you can experience a yoga class with me (International Certified Yoga Teacher) and/or do your own practice, subject to availability and additional fee. We also have an in-house International Certified Coach & Akashic Record Master that you could book session(s) with during your stay. Subject to availability and additional fee. Outside Catrinandes there is also a range of activities to be experienced: pottery lesson with local potters, visit the traditional black clay pottery workshops, visit Caramulo mountain range, its amazing museum and experience center, enjoy nature walk trails, cycle in the Eco Pista do Dão, visit Viseu, or visit the Dão wine region with a wine tour at Casa de Santar. There is something for everyone and we are happy to help designing and planning your stay in this beautiful and authentic region.
