Peaceful 2 BR 5th Wheel in Slave Lake, AB

Welcome to your camping getaway. This is a privately owned two bedroom 5th wheel RV sleeps 6, with covered decked permanently parked in Campground "Roland on the River". On the deck you will find a fridge and camp stove where you can prepare all your meals. If you have a boat, docks can be rented or boat rentals arranged by contacting Roland on the River Located along side of Slave River, minutes to nature, beach and fishing. A 5 minute drive into Slave Lake to pick up any gear forgotten. The space Linens (bedding/towels/pillows) are not included. Please plan to bring your own bedding. The main bedroom is a king bed and has a mattress pad . The mattress was NEW in 2023 and is a 10” medium plush. The 2nd bedroom is spacious with a Jack and Jill bunk. The top bunk should be used for children. The couch in the living room is also a sleeper (not so comfortable) but can sleep two people. The main room has a TV and a mixture of DVD’s. The bedroom TV is hooked into the stereo system to also watch DVD’s. There is an Amazon fire stick that can be used via a hotspot from your phone to watch news or movies on the wet days. There is no Satellite TV or Wifi provided. The deck is a great place to set up for dinner or a game of cards in the shade or get out of the rain on wet days. There are additional sun screens that can be cranked open on the front of the deck for additional protection. Fishing boat rentals can be arranged by contacting Roland on the River. You must have a boaters license and supply your own life jackets. Call in advance for information and to avoid disappointment. Note this a private rental not affiliated with Roland on the River. All enquires must be done through Airbnb. Other amenities located within 10 minutes: Try some fishing along the river side, from the beach, or as noted contact Betty at Roland on the River for a boat rental. Slave Lake has some of the finest fishing for everyone. Try not to get hooked. Enjoy the Slave Lake Bird Observatory, where you can learn about the 1000's of birds that visit the boreal forest Drive out to the Marten River mountain Look out and see an amazing view of Slave Lake, or enjoy the hike out to Lily lake. You can also discover part of the Canada's Great Trail and see some other amazing views Enjoy a round of golf at the Gilwood Golf Club where you can play 9 or 18 holes of golf On a rainy day, drop into the Northern Lakes Aquatic Center, located in the Northern Lakes College or catch a movie at the Rex Theatre. Stop by the Slave Lake Multi-Rec Center with field house and running track, along with a children's indoor playground Take the kids to one of the many outdoor playgrounds located throughout town, including a splash park and several tennis courts Slave Lake although a small town and has all the amenities needed, with Canadian Tire for fishing supplies and Bait, Sobeys, No Frills or Walmart for groceries along with other local stores located in town. There are several restaurants and gas stations for all your needs. Guest access Guests will have private access to use all the RV and lot. Help yourself to anything in the unit. Note if you have friends joining with another RV or tent you will need to make separate arrangements with the campground and pay direct to the campground. Other things to note There is no firewood supplied. You are welcome to bring your own Firewood, or buy at great value delivered direct to your door by the campground. Call Betty and Roland to make arrangements. If you do want boat rentals you are required to have a boaters license and must supply your own life jackets. All arrangements are to be made direct with Betty or Roland (campground owners). While you will be near town, encounters with wild animals are not uncommon. Please practice caution, put garbage in covered bins and put food away. Each rental will come with empty sewer and will be dumped upon leaving. If the sewer fills during the rental the dumping fee is paid by the renter direct to Roland on the River. Dump is $25 plus gst and should be done during daytime hours. Monthly rentals will have one dump per week included in rental fees. The unit will be full of water and additional water is free just contact Roland on the River for more water during day time hours. The unit will also be topped up with water on Monday’s and Friday’s. There is shower building and flush toilets. Showers takes loonies. Quiet time at 10 pm.
