Small inn attached to a historic school building

This guesthouse is located on the grounds of the former Hirohashi Elementary School.The building, formerly a teacher's residence, was renovated into a guesthouse. The bath is a traditional Japanese wood-fired bath. You can experience heating water with firewood. ■The house can accommodate up to 10 people. ■No meals are included.There is no supermarket within walking distance. "A Co-op" 15 minutes by car. "Life" and "Okuwa" 20 minutes by car. ■It's cold until around March.Please be warm. The space ■1F: Kitchen, living room/bedroom, washroom ■2F: Bedroom (1 semi-double bed) *The living room on the first floor can be locked from the inside. *The stairs to the second floor are a little steep. *Goemon bath and toilet are in a separate building (you have to go outside once, so please refrain from doing so if you are worried in the middle of the night or in winter). *Bedding is a futon and one bed. In that case, campers have priority. The guesthouse is for private use. Other things to note ■Please bring your own pajamas and toothbrush. ■When you boil the bath, there is a possibility that you may smell smoke or get dirty, so please wear clothes that take these factors into consideration. ■The Shimoichi Onsen Akitsu-so, located 10 minutes away by car, is closed on Mondays and open until 19:00. ■A blaring time siren will sound from a speaker in the playground at 12:00 noon and 17:00 in the evening. Also, for some reason, a chime rings around 9:00 p.m. in the evening. If you are sensitive to sound, please refrain from coming.
