SEE MORE INFO AND QUESTIONS BELOW!! The space LOCATION: We are located 80km from the city of Mendoza (an hour and a half approx), on the north coast of Dique Potrerillos. We are a brake at Hotel Potrerillos and Bar Las Palapas, 14 km from the village. To get to the complex you have to cross a railway bridge and then 5.8 km by a path of ripio apto for all vehicles. We are located in an area away from the village, to better connect with nature and this makes the experience more enjoyable. ARRIVAL OPTIONS: 1- It can be reached by collective from the terminal of Mendoza to the villa de potrerillos and from the mansion to the domos in a transfer . We have transfers contacts. 2- The most convenient is to arrive by car to have greater independence. We have car rental contacts. 3- You can also reach it by transfer from the city of Mendoza or by taxi/uber that can be more economical but do not want to look for them again once they bring them, as it is not close, that's why we recommend our transfers. TEMPERATURE: In the area where we are located there is a great thermal amplitude, during the day the temperature rises and it is hot and at night it gets cooler. Autumn-winter SEASON (June, July and August) WATER CAN FREEZE DUE TO LOW TEMPERATURES and THAT CAN AFFECT RUNNING WATER SUPPLY at some times of the day. In that case you will not be able to shower at certain times, we provide you with two drums with water for cooking and the toilet. It is part of the experience the lighting and feeding of the salamanders by the visitors. SPRING-SUMMER SEASON (November, December, January and February) CAN GET VERY HOT INSIDE THE DOME IN SUNLIGHT HOURS, so WE recommend coming prepared TO spend the day outside the dome (in the common sector that has shade, in the pool or swimming in the dam). SUGGESTIONS: Bring sunscreen, off, cap, coat in layers (onion type). In winter bring a hat, gloves and warm stockings for the extremities and keeping the dome and curtains closed when it starts to cool down. It is important to keep the salamander on during the night in the fall - winter, feeding the same from time to time. The ACCOMMODATION includes sheets and towels, has a gas stove for cooking, minibar and a kitchen equipped with necessary utensils. It has no oven or freezer!! You can use the fire area for cooking. We have a small menu of pizzas, empanadas and others, with room service. Kitchen hours are from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. If you want to cook, we recommend bringing provisions as there are no places to shop near the complex. We are in an area far from the village (14 km) about 30 minutes approx. The complex is self-sustaining. The water comes from slope for this reason we must make a reasonable use. Power comes from solar panels, NO IRON, HAIR DRYER, or SIMILAR APPLIANCES, if computer and cell phones. We do not have air conditioning or fan. We take care of our flora and fauna. It is forbidden to cut branches and plants of the place. It must be circulated on the trails. CHILDREN over 12 YEARS OLD AND WE DO not receive pets. At the Nido you will be able to enjoy a lot of outdoor activities such as trekking, stand up paddle and mountain bike. However, most guests recommend two nights to enjoy all the amenities and activities. OTHER ASPECTS TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT: We respect and take great care of the nature, flora and fauna of the place. We have solar panels that provide us with the energy, so the consumption of it must be done during the day and it is only enough to charge cell phones and notebooks. HAIR DRYER, IRON AND SIMILAR APPLIANCES CANNOT BE USED. The water comes from a salient and that's why we must take care of it when washing the dishes and bathing. For the wastewater we use biodigestor and NO PAPERS SHOULD BE FLUSHED IN the TOILET or strange elements that may obstruct its operation. The gray waters are used for irrigation and that's why it's important not to throw chemicals that can damage the flora in bachas or shower.
