Charming 1870 townhome in historic Midtown with 1 dedicated, off-street parking space. Located a half-block from the river and walking distance to some of the best restaurants, craft breweries, markets, coffee shops, and bakeries in Harrisburg. Quick drive to Hershey and Roundtop. Carefully and beautifully restored, this home maintains the craftsmanship and charm of late 1800s construction but offers today’s conveniences to ensure your stay is comfortable and fun! The space This beautiful three-story home has three bedrooms and two large full bathrooms. The first floor features a newly renovated kitchen with stainless appliances and an open view to the dining room. The living room is equipped with a 55 in. 4k smart TV connected to all the major streaming services – choose from our program selection (blame Andy for all the Marvel movies ;-)) or log into your own account! The second floor offers two bedrooms; one with a queen bed, a working electric fireplace, and a desk/vanity and the other with a full bed. Each contains a smart TV. The full bathroom on this floor includes a huge walk-in shower and laundry closet with washer and dryer. The third floor is a private, spacious suite with a queen bed and full bathroom with bathtub. The bedroom contains a 55 in. smart TV and a desk/vanity. Our 2 old staircases, however charming, are narrow and steep and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. We have one dedicated, off-street parking space a short, 3 minute walk from the house on the same street. There is NO additional charge for using this space. Details will be provided prior to arrival. Guest access The whole house is yours with the exception of the basement and the linen closet on the 2nd floor. Other things to note Guests with additional cars will need to park on the street. Street parking is first come first served. Usually, a parking spot can be found within a couple of blocks and often right in front of the house depending on the time of day. There are a number of street parking restrictions in the city. Here is the breakdown: • Saturday/Sunday: Very simple! No regulations are enforced during this time. • Weekdays: Permit parking only during these times: 8-10am and 3-5pm. Meters are recommended during these two windows of time. I can provide additional information on meters if needed. • Street Cleaning Days: 2nd and 4th Friday of each month from 8am – 12pm. Cars cannot be on OUR street during this time. Different streets may have different cleaning days so be sure to read signs carefully.
