Step away and into this nature oasis at the Rangeley Lakes Homestead North. Invite your family to relax and revive in this 4 bdr/3.5 ba mountain compound set on 48 acres and located off a private access road in the Rangeley Lakes Region of Maine. IDEAL for ATVs, hikers, nature lovers, and outdoor enthusiasts!!! Upon entering the house you are greeted with panoramic views of the Rangeley Mountains! Views, Views and MORE VIEWS! Only 15 mins from downtown Rangeley, this Mountain Retreat has it all. Kick back in the spacious living area while enjoying the views of the Rangeley Lakes Mountains and the majesty of Mother Nature. On the entry level you will find 3 bedrooms (all queen beds) with 2.5 baths, a spacious kitchen and access to the back patio. Downstairs leads to the game room with pool table and lounge area with tv, 1 bedroom, 1 full bathroom, gym and laundry room. A fire pit is located outside where you can spend family time sharing memories and stories, roasting marshmallows, cooking and eating at the picnic table. The back of the house has more than 1.5 acres cleared and available for your family to spend outside enjoying the fresh mountain air. IMPORTANT FOR SNOWMOBILERS and winter guests: the downstairs has a sliding glass entry from outside where you can access our winter gear/clothes storage area. The house sits upon 60+ acres on a plowed, snow-covered private road with direct access to the Rangeley Lakes Region Snowmobile Trail ITS connector trail taking you to either Downtown Rangeley or Oquossoc/Kennebago. Also, there is a large barn to store your snowmobiles out of the winter weather while you're not using them (see photos). Also, you will find a large wood shed directly across from the garage with seasoned firewood for the woodstove. You can directly leave the back of the property and enter plenty of snowshoeing trails through the forest. Enjoy this form of winter exercise or just get lost in nature following the moose and deer tracks through the abundance of trees. Or you might even decide to set aside a few days for skiing at Saddleback Mountain in Rangeley, approx. 15 mins away, or Sugarloaf Mountain, approx. 45 mins away. Plus, the home is located just 10-15 mins from the Town of Rangeley. Guest will be able to access the entire property which includes the entire home, attached garage, detached barn, wood shed and hunting cabin set down below the house along the tree line. The property is very well-maintained and we keep it extremely CLEAN! If you find something that does not meet your cleanliness standards (we would be very surprised), but we do ask that you communicate to us so we can strive to make it better. Communication will make your entire stay that much more enjoyable and smooth. Should you need anything whatsoever during your stay, then I affirm that I will make myself available to assist you. Why should you and your family choose to spend your vacation at Homestead North? One very simple reason - We are committed to creating an atmosphere where you and your family can most enjoy your time together, experiencing all that the Rangeley Lakes Region has to offer. We would like to offer an invitation to our guests to be included as family in our home, so that we may grow a relationship that is built on service. Our dedication is to constantly strive at enhancing our home's atmosphere, which we hope will support you and your family in having the best experience possible. Examples of this will include the replacement of inoperable or outdated appliances, dishware or linens, more games to be purchased for the game room and even updates/renovations to the home. We have a passion for excellence, being of service to others and creating value. We chose this property due to its close proximity to the town of Rangeley with its bars, restaurants and shopping, yet far enough outside of town to become completely immersed in the scenery and natural beauty of the Rangeley Lakes Region. **ATTENTION SNOWMOBILERS: One major deciding factor in the purchase of this property was the accessibility to any of the area's snowmobile trails from our front door. In this case, you can leave on your snowmobile right from the front of the property in order to find access to the main ITS snowmobile Highways via the connector that runs across Loon Lake Road near Skyland Drive (near the Transfer Station). You can access this connector and ultimately Downtown Rangeley, or the other direction to Oquossoc/Kennebago via a short ride down to the intersection of Skyland Drive (a private and snowmobile-friendly road) and Loon Lake Road. **WINTER GUESTS: This property is located approx 10 miles, or 20 mins, to Saddleback Mountain & Ski Resort, and approx 33 miles, or 45 mins, to Sugarloaf Mountain in the Carrabassett Valley. *SUMMER GUESTS: You will be located and have access to ATV trail.
