Welcome to a modern and fully equipped vacation home with a large terrace that runs around 3/4 of the house and offers an unbeatable view of Lake Åklång – right in the heart of Dalsland. If you also rent the wood-fired hot tub, you will further enhance the experience with a warm, relaxing bath after a long walk! The vacation home is within walking distance of Håverud with Sweden's first aqueduct, cozy restaurants, swimming and fishing opportunities and beautiful hiking trails. Read more under the accommodation. The space The cottage is 60 sqm and built in 2019 and is also used privately by us. It has a large open-plan living room with kitchen and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed (160x200), the other bedroom has two single beds (80x200). Then there is a simple extra bed. Large fully tiled bathroom with shower, sink, toilet and washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge and freezer, dishwasher, induction stove, oven, microwave, blender, airfryer, toaster, etc. The patio is about 120 sqm and stretches around three sides of the house. There is a lounge group for 4–6 people, dining table with 4 chairs, cafe table with 4 chairs, large pergola as well as 2 sunbeds and 2 sun loungers. Bed linens, towels, toilet paper and body wash are included in the rent. Note: The hot tub is an option For an extra memorable experience, there is a wood-fired hot tub for 4–5 people to rent. You fill the barrel with water and fire until it reaches a comfortable temperature. It takes about 5–6 hours to fill and heat it to about 38 degrees. Please let us know well in advance of arrival if you wish to book the hot tub. Price to be provided upon request Guest access You have access to the whole cottage and patio during your stay. Other things to note We do not charge a cleaning fee as the accommodation must be cleaned by the tenant before check-out. Winter: November - April Snow removal from the terrace, parking and other areas around the cottage is not included during the rental period, but there are snow shovels at the cottage to use.
