Each cabin comes with linens (sheets, quilt or down comforter, towels for two, and pillows), a fan, curtains for the wall of glass, electrical outlets, a small countertop w/ a kettle, a Keurig for coffee, tea, mini refrigerator, two Adirondack chairs, a fire ring w/ integrated grill, and a small picnic table. This cabin has its own half-bathroom and our renovated cedar bath house is a very short walk if you want to take a shower. This is the nicest campground bathroom you'll ever see, with live edge countertops and new fixtures everywhere. It actually smells _good_ if you can believe that. And while the bath house is a shared space, don't worry about it being crowded--it gets minimal use because our campground is small and many of our guests will be staying in cabins with their own bathrooms. The bath house has 3 clean, private showers with gloriously hot water to help you unwind. The cabin is located in the recently renovated campground next to the Desert of Maine, an iconic tourist attraction established in 1926. The campground is small, quiet, and serene, surrounded by tall northern pines at the edge of the Desert’s rolling sand dunes which were deposited there at the end of the last ice age. The tourist attraction (open May - Oct) includes fascinating exhibits about the history, ecology, geology of the Desert, activities for kids, a train ride, mini golf, and much more. Campground guests enjoy free access to the dunes after hours, and discounted tickets for mini golf and general admission for daytime visits. The entire experience is designed around helping you unwind from your busy life, slip in to a sense of stillness and wonder, and wake up (again) to the magic of being a human. Come to the place Where Wanderers Unwind. Guest access You will have the entire cabin on a dedicated campsite, all to yourself. In addition, you will have access to our renovated, cedar bath house which is just steps away, with individual showers. Other things to note The cabins are insulated and include a portable heater/AC unit so you should be able to make it comfortable no matter what the temperature is outside!
