The Stable Room @ Combe Hay, Bath

Come and enjoy our gorgeous Stable Room @ Combe Hay. Just 4 miles from the beautiful Georgian City of Bath yet situated in beautiful and peaceful countryside. It is very easy to get into Bath by car or by bus using the nearest park and ride site. The room is very spacious and is beautifully decorated using many furnishings and accessories from Neptune. There is a fabulous village gastro pub , The Wheatsheaf, within easy strolling distance. wheatsheafcombehay.com booking is required. The space The property is a stone built barn converted into a residential dwelling in 1993, situated in a quintessential English village near the Georgian city of Bath. We have recently completely redecorated the Stable Room suite. You will have private access to the suite from the front door via the porch and hallway which will be for your sole use during your stay as we have alternative access. The room is very spacious, there is a king size bed, two double wardrobes and chest of drawers, free fast wi fi and charging points for phones and tablets in the wall sockets. Bathroom with bath and shower (not a power shower). Breakfast table and chairs, help yourself to breakfast in the suite, breakfast items provided, such as milk, orange juice, cereals and croissants. Tea making facilities and a coffee machine are also provided along with a mini fridge. There are lovely views from the room and some stunning walks in the surrounding countryside. Muddy walking boots and wet coats can be left in the porch. There is free parking available on the driveway. In addition to The Wheatsheaf pub within the village, there are lovely walks to The Fox and Badger in Wellow and to The Packhorse in Southstoke two of our neighbouring villages. Guest access You will have private access to the suite via the front door, porch and hallway of the property. We will usually be around, but we have a separate entrance to the property so your privacy will be maintained. There is a small area for sitting outside at the front of the property which catches the evening sun and is a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine. There is no access to other parts of the property. Other things to note Check in from 3pm. Check out is at 11am. A later check out may be available if required.
