Our historic home has lots of natural light and high ceilings. The two bedrooms are furnished with comfy queen beds. The sunroom also doubles as a third sleeping room. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the large front porch, or yard games and bbq in the fenced back yard. The updated kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need to help you feel right at home. Minutes from Forest Park, BJC and SSM hospitals, universities, downtown, many great restaurants and shops. Furry friends welcome! The space Our historic home was built in 1885 and contains much of the original charm that makes it so special, while also benefitting from updates over the years (including indoor plumbing!) to provide a comfortable getaway for your time in St. Louis. Four steps up to the roomy front porch with seating area will take you to the keypad which allows for quick and easy access. Once you enter, you’ll find yourself in the bright and cheery open floor plan which flows from living room, to reading nook - complete with books for all ages, as well as games and coloring supplies for the children - and then into the dining room. The sunroom at the back of the house is a plant-lovers paradise This room has an abundance of natural light, and is perfect for playing games, reading or enjoying your favorite cup of tea. It is equipped with a comfortable futon for an additional sleeping option. The two bedrooms are furnished with plush queen beds, complete with hypoallergenic sheets. A closet with hangers and a dresser round out each bedroom. Extra pillows are located in the closet in the middle bedroom, as well as in the living room closet. A lap desk is available in each bedroom closet to make remote work easy and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and comes with a filtered water pitcher in the fridge, basic condiments, and a wide selection of seasonings for your use. A fully equipped coffee bar in the dining room is stocked with ground and whole bean coffee and your choice of drip, pod, and French press for brewing options. You can even grind your own beans that we supply or bring your favorite with you! We haven’t forgotten tea lovers - enjoy a cup from the variety of tea bags also found at the coffee bar. The bathroom provides all the essentials, as well as a hair dryer, first aid kit, and sewing kit. Guest access You will have access to the entire house. The basement is unfinished, but there are laundry facilities that you are free to use. Please be careful on the narrow steps leading to the basement and watch your head when turning the corner on the landing! The fenced back yard is a great space for playing cornhole (a set for your enjoyment is kept in the basement), or enjoying a glass of wine around the fire pit in the evening. Other things to note Two bikes are available in the basement for exploring the neighborhood
