Cosy Rustic Horsebox with Lake view and Fishing

Come and stay in Betty, the tiny home, rustic converted horsebox with a beautiful Lake view. Relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside and impressive tranquil lake, watch and listen to the wildlife. The space Set in 7 acres of beautiful countryside, Betty has been thoughtfully renovated and given a new lease of life, creating a cosy and comfortable tiny home for guests to stay. Access to Betty is via steps through 2 side doors. The rustic living space is well insulated and heated, making it very cosy, even in the middle of winter. There is mains electricity with good lighting, plentiful sockets (including USB). The Kitchen includes a solid work top which is extended into a breakfast bar, sink with running hot and cold water, portable hob, fridge with ice compartment, kettle and toaster. You will also have your own outside area to enjoy alfresco eating and drinking. Crockery, cutlery and basic cooking pans and utensils are provided, along with bedlinen. There is a double bed over the cab complete with 2 reading lights, or alternatively the seating area below can be made into a double bed. Sleeping arrangements would be suitable for a couple or a small family. There is also space for a small tent outside if required. A TV is included with an integrated DVD player and Freeview which can access over 100 channels. To store luggage there is a clothes rail and cupboard, the seats also lift up to provide extra storage. Basic shower and a flushing toilet are also provided. Please note that the toilet is located just outside the horse box. Please also note that there are no towels provided. Outside the back ramp can be lowered which makes an ideal area for sitting out and enjoying the lake and countryside views, where you will often see sheep, alpacas and horses grazing. Enjoy exploring the grounds, maybe enjoy a picnic by the lake, or take a walk through the surrounding land, perfect for spotting the local wildlife. For those who love fishing we offer the opportunity to catch a few Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach free of charge during your stay. Small dogs are welcome but please note that there is limited indoor space and we do charge an additional deep cleaning fee of £10. Locally: - Cleobury Mortimer market town (2 miles) groceries, pubs, shops, restaurants, hairdressers, beauticians, running club, garage, Church and more! Thai, Indian, Chinese, Pizza, Kebabs and Fish and Chips are all available for delivery. - Ludlow (10 miles) which is famous for its food, has a thrice weekly market and holds many festivals throughout the year. - Bewdley (10 miles) is an attractive Georgian town sitting directly upon the River Severn, an area with a rich agricultural and industrial history and a gateway to the Wyre Forest. Within a 20 minute drive there is many family friendly attractions including: - West Midlands Safari Park - Severn Valley Railway - Rays Farm - Witley Court - Stokesay Castle - Go Ape in Wyre forest - Ludlow Castle - Clee Hill views Guest access Access to the Lake field next to the Horsebox and small pond area across the gravel track. Other things to note Fishing available free of charge, lake stocked with Tench, Bream, Carp and Roach. Own fishing equipment, including chairs, are not supplied. Meat from animals born, bred and reared on our small holding next door is available to buy, including sausages, pork and lamb. Fresh eggs are also available. Please let us know before hand if you’d like any sausages or eggs put in the fridge for you for when you arrive.
