Patio area is to the rear of the property looking onto a 3 acre field and is an ideal place for unforgettable Al Fresco breakfasts and barbecues. To the rear runs the Pennsylvania Woods which stretches on to the quaint village of Aberkenfig some one mile away where are to be found a good range of small shops and restaurants. Supermarkets are available some two miles from the cottage as is McArthur Glenn Designer Outlet. The property comprises of 2 bedrooms (king size) a well equipped kitchen and lounge and a bathroom with roll top bath & power shower. Smart televisions are in place in each bedroom and the lounge. The barn benefits with a log burner (with a free supply of logs for the duration of your stay) There are instructions for log burner & tassimo coffee machine on the table in lounge. Large car parking area. For those who wish to use the railways/buses and 'park up' the car, there is a railway station some two miles from the cottage and regular bus services in the area. Pets are welcome (there is a small fee of £25 per dog if you want to bring your dog, please no dogs on furniture or beds) The location is ideal for those who just wish to enjoy the immediate countryside but also available to guests locally as well as an outstanding coastline/ golden beach, are a large number of activities including the following: walking/cycling on the 'Bridgend Trails' Pony trecking on local beaches/dunes Coarse fishing Visits to Wiggleys Fun Farm and Play Centre Margam Park where organised walks,fishing, adventure park activity, orienteering. Mountain biking etc are available daily. Bryngarw Country Park where their gardens are well worth a visit as are the walks there.
