This is a beautifully renovated apartment in the heart of Mackay, compact in footprint but thoughtfully designed and fully equipped. Everything you need is here. The space The bedroom has a queen bed with mountain views and its own window AC for summer stays. The living room opens to a queen sofa bed — we've replaced the stock mattress with a 4-inch memory foam upgrade, and guests sleep comfortably on it. The full kitchen has a range and oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The washer and dryer are in-unit. Fiber internet runs at 100–150 Mbps. There's a dedicated workspace if you need to stay connected. Guest access The apartment is entirely yours — private bath, full kitchen, in-unit laundry. Self check-in via smart lock makes arrival easy at any hour. Your access code will be sent before you arrive. Parking is available directly behind the building. Longer vehicles may park on the street next to the building. A full flight of outdoor stairs with a railing leads to the second-floor hallway and your apartment at the end. Check-in is at 4:00 PM or later. Checkout by 11:00 AM. Other things to note This is a second-floor apartment on Mackay's Main Street. You'll occasionally hear a car pass on the two-lane highway below — it's a small town, so it's genuinely quiet. A white noise machine is in the bedroom if you like one. The apartment sleeps up to four guests: two in the queen bedroom and two on the queen sofa bed in the living room. Both spaces have their own window AC unit for warmer months. Cell service in Mackay is reliable, and the fiber internet is fast. You won't feel cut off. The building sits on Main Street, which is also a two-lane highway through town. Noise is minimal — this is a small, quiet town — but light sleepers will appreciate the white noise machine we keep in the bedroom.
