Come and enjoy your own Texas Lakehouse. This one story, three bedroom house features its own private pool and private dock on six acres on Lake Travis near Austin, Texas. You'll love the hill country views and clear waters of Lake Travis. The private lakehouse is only 35 minutes away from downtown Austin. You can spend time in the city and enjoy all it has to offer for the day, but rest-assured, you'll want to hurry and come back to the lakehouse to relax as soon as you can. The space Welcome to your very own lake house at the Lake Travis Hideaway! We offer a beautiful 3 bedroom home with 2 full bathrooms. There is plenty of space for your friends or family to enjoy the indoor and outdoor space together. It is fully furnished for up to 10 guests to enjoy. The Kitchen is stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils you could need. We have a double oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, and gas stove; along with a coffee maker (beans), microwave and toaster. The Living Room includes a large sectional, swivel chairs to enjoy the conversation in the room or face outward to enjoy the lake and pool view along with a shuffleboard table and ping pong table. The Dining Room table offers seating for 8 people. Bedroom #1 offers a luxurious king bed and attached en suite full bathroom. Bedroom #2 offers a super comfortable queen bed and a day bed with trundle (total capacity 4 people). Bedroom #3 offers a high quality queen bed and a day bed with trundle (total capacity 4 people). The Laundry Room has a washer and dryer ready for you to use when needed. The Pool is big and has a depth of 9 feet and 3 feet at the shallow end. We also have 9 lounge chairs to enjoy and a nearby gas grill to use. The Back Patio has a table and 6 chairs for outdoor dining, and comfortable seating for conversations. The Fire Pit has 6 Adirondack chairs for you to use facing the lake to enjoy the view. Depending on the weekend, you may need to bring some firewood for a campfire, but you can usually find some in the front of the property. The entire 6 acres is yours to enjoy. The front 2 acres closest to the road is heavily wooded and perfect for exploring. The back section of the property is a near flat field which is well-suited for baseball, football, frisbee golf and a whole host of other outdoor activities, such as scavenger hunts, slip n slides, and other creative ideas for the space. Unfortunately we lost our dock in last year’s flooding due to a rogue dock hitting it. We're in line to get it repaired but it's currently unavailable. Please be mindful that our property is in a quaint neighborhood and to keep the noise level down at 10pm or after. Thank you for being considerate of our lovely neighbors. Guest access You will have the entire 6 acre property to yourselves. You can enjoy the woods in the front acres closer to the road, or enjoy the back yard pool and open field in the back of the property near the lake. The backyard is about the length of 2 football fields. It’s great for playing big group games, hitting golf balls, or anything you can imagine!
