Wild Sugar Homestead includes a 3,200 sqft main house, a party barn with attached milk house, and ~70 acres of land to explore. A 5 minute walk to the upper field reveals an epic view of the White Mountains from Mt. Washington to Mt. Moosilauke. The front yard includes an old variety apple orchard, plum orchard, and a pond. The field on the other side of the road has a hidden woodland pond brimming with life. There are tons of opportunities to see wildlife on the property, including moose, deer, bears, turkeys, and many other critters. The 12 acre wetland section of the property is a bird watcher's paradise! The house itself has character in every corner. The original owner, builder, and designer Ray Clark has an eye for detail and a penchant for building in the old style. The result is a house that looks and feels about 100 years older than it is. There is an undeniable charm to the hand hewn beams, carved floor boards, ornate brick work, and built in furnishings. Most of all, what we hear from our clients and visitors is - "This place is MAGIC." Guest access You will have unlimited access to the main house and the grounds. You can request access to the party barn and milk house. We will likely greet you upon arrival. After that, we will leave you to it. If you need us, we are right down the road!
