Lovely Casita (Spanish-style guest house) with 2 queen bedrooms, 2 full baths and modern amenities on the 7.5 acre Huisache Moon Ranch. Built in 2021. Peaceful ranch getaway close to Wimberley, San Marcos, San Antonio, and Austin. The 815 sqft includes living room, dining area, and kitchenette. Each bedroom has its own AC-Heating control. Water supply is pure, filter rainwater. Come for a quiet weekend away, a new work-from-home location, or a jumping off place for sightseeing with friends. The space Sit on the front porch with a glass of wine or beer, read a book, watch the wildlife, feel the gentle hill country breezes, and hear the quiet sounds of nature as you unwind and relax. Looking for a different place to work remotely? Lounge on the porch using the 1000Mbps Wi-Fi and the 200Mbps connection to the internet for reliable remote working. Interested in stargazing while sitting by the fire pit (if no burn ban) having drinks and maybe some smores? It is so dark out here at night away from the city lights that you can clearly see the Milky Way. Sleep on soft linen sheets, wake after a peaceful night's sleep, have coffee from the Kuerig machine or make tea from the assortment available, shower in luxurious filtered rainwater, and make your own breakfast before heading out to numerous local attractions like Wimberley Market Days, San Marcos' Spring Lake, Canyon Lake, or Texas State University. Visit Austin or San Antonio for tasty lunch or dinner. Parking area and sidewalk to the Casita are shared with main house. Note: We are an active apiary with 5-7 beehives on ranch -- but they are not close to the Casita. Please contact us if you have any questions about the hives.
