Inside, you’ll find the comforts Grandma always had—cotton quilts, rocking chairs, cozy places to read—paired with modern conveniences like Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a fully equipped kitchen. The space is welcoming, relaxed, and thoughtfully furnished for guests who appreciate vintage character over cookie-cutter rentals. Outside, the private yard invites slow mornings and easy evenings: backyard picnics, campfires under the stars, and space to unwind after a day exploring Door County. From the front door, walk or bike to the beach, marina, parks, coffee shops, breweries, and some of Egg Harbor’s best sunsets. Guest access This 950-square-foot cottage sits on a one-third-acre lot at the quiet south end of Egg Harbor’s village. Guests have use of the entire cottage and yard, offering privacy in a residential setting while still being an easy walk to restaurants, the marina, beach, and village center. The backyard features a campfire pit and patio seating, with large mature trees providing shade and privacy. The back of the property borders many acres of wooded land (not ours), creating a peaceful, forested view. There is parking for two vehicles at the cottage, with additional parking available upon request. The driveway is shared with our two nearby vacation rentals and is used lightly, as each home has its own dedicated parking area. A shared laundry space is located in the garage next door. A small front deck is perfect for morning coffee—watch the village come to life or enjoy the flowers in our shaded garden. While the cottage is located along the village’s main road, traffic is calm with a 30-mph speed limit, and mature trees and landscaping provide privacy and help buffer sound. A sought-after location, vintage charm, and friendly, responsive local support have made this a favorite Door County cottage for over 15 years. Other things to note The cottage shares a driveway with two nearby vacation rentals. Each home has its own designated parking, and driveway use is generally light and respectful. To keep the neighborhood peaceful for everyone, quiet hours are observed from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. We are happy to welcome well-behaved pets. For everyone’s safety & comfort, pets must be leashed when outdoors and kept off furniture indoors. Please pick up after pets in the yard and surrounding areas so the space stays enjoyable for all guests.
