Welcome to The White Oak Inn - a traditional bed and breakfast inn located in a quiet country valley, close to Kenyon College and Ohio's Amish area. The Dogwood Room is a relaxing, open-spaced room located in our guesthouse, separate from the main inn building. It features an Amish-made king size bed, a private bathroom with shower, a fireplace, and TV with DVD player and DirecTV. It is also pet-friendly. A full hearty country breakfast is always included in our rates. Please note that Airbnb does not collect taxes on our behalf. 10.25% state and local tax will be due on arrival. The space You are booking a room in a quiet country inn bed and breakfast. You have your own private bathroom. Your room is comfortably appointed with fine linens. You have a TV/DVD player and access to a selection of movies to borrow and DirecTV. In addition to your private room you also have access to use the inn's common room, outside porches, and an outdoor screened patio with tables and chairs. Daily housekeeping is provided. Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy the inn's common room with fireplace and grand piano, as well as our front porch and all the outdoor areas on our 14 acre property. We have a small guest refrigerator for guests to store snacks and the Amish cheese we know they're going to buy to take home! Complimentary hot and cold beverages, light snacks, and home-made cookies are always available. During your stay Your hosts live on the premises, so are available 24 hours a day in person or by phone to answer questions, give suggestions for dining, sightseeing or help with reservations. Other things to note A full country breakfast is provided each morning of your stay. We also offer several dining options for evening meals, by separate reservation.
