Located 20 mins from Boone & West Jefferson, the "Garden Gate Loft" boasts beautiful views of the New River’s South Fork from a self-catering, open concept suite on top of a refurbished 1880's dairy barn. This amazing location allows fishermen, paddlers and tubers entrance to the New River, bikers & runners access to Railroad Grade Road, hikers entry to the woods behind "The Escape." Book lovers and loungers will find serene grounds full of relaxing spots worlds away from the stresses of life. The Garden Gate Loft is set up for individuals who want a beautiful view from their bed, a place to relax in nature and have a self-catering kitchen at their disposal (stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, et al). This light and airy room with garden and river views make you feel like you are part of nature. The jetted tub allows you to chill out at the end of the day before crawling into a comfy bed. If there is something we don't provide in your suite, please ask and we will try to accommodate your needs. Laundry facilities available upon request. You may wander anyplace on our property but please respect that we live in the farm house. We will absolutely try to greet you when you arrive if we can and would love to hang out and get to know you on the weekend if you so desire. Of course, we are always reachable by phone. We are the first house on the left in a private neighborhood. Drive past the house and the garage and then past the barn to the parking area. You will need a vehicle to get to our place unless you are bike touring or an amazing runner. For those that are bike touring we are right off a paved road by a couple hundred feet. **Don't forget your outdoor toys - bikes, boats, hiking shoes, etc. This is a second story suite so you will have to walk up some stairs with your luggage. The space is currently setup for two people. We do have another similar barn loft across the hall (the "French Country") that also accommodates 2 people, if you would like to bring your friends too!
