NEW! A-Frame House in Minami Karuizawa

“A-FRAME HOUSE” is a newly built & highly unique triangle shaped house located in beautiful Minami Karuizawa. Gaze for hours at the surrounding trees and mountains through the eight meter tall South facing triangular window. Step outside onto the 20 square meter wood deck and fully immerse yourself in nature. The modern Western style interior will make you feel like you’re in Europe or North America. Come and unwind in a one-of-a-kind home and enjoy the tranquil beauty of Minami Karuizawa. The space ＜2nd Floor Bedroom＞ In the 2nd floor bedroom, we’ve created a wonderful space where you can see green or autumn red leaves, the blue sky or starry beautiful night sky from the large triangular window and sky light windows. There is no curtain for the triangular window because we want our guests to feel immersed in nature. We have two semi-double beds available. There is a work desk so you can work while taking in the scenic view. ＜1st Floor Bedroom＞ Two single beds are available on the ground floor. The windows are triple glazed, so you can spend your time quietly and comfortably. ＜Living ＆ Dining＞ We made the living and dining interior to be modern cottage style, which will make you feel like you are staying overseas while you are in Japan. There’s a 3 seater sofa, coffee table, an arm chair and a pellet stove in the living room area. There is also a dining table and four dining chairs in the dining area. We have used natural wooden walls and floors, a triangular ceiling of about 8 meters high with a large opening so you can relax in nature away from the city. You can watch your favorite shows and movies on Netflix or Amazon Prime on the large pull-down projector. ＜Bathroom＞ We have a shower room and a sink but we don’t have a bathtub. ＜Kitchen＞ Fully equipped kitchen - you can make full use of the kitchen to cook up anything you like. ＜Washer ＆Dryer＞ We have a washer.
