Welcome to The Regal Rest, a spacious two-storey lakefront retreat on Rice Lake, perfect for large groups, multiple families, or a fishing getaway you'll want to repeat every year. Rice Lake is one of the best fishing lakes in Ontario. We have a brand-new dock, two paddleboards, a transparent tandem kayak, a transparent solo kayak, a standard solo kayak, and a large canoe, all included. The space The full house gives you both floors entirely to yourselves, with two fully equipped kitchens, two bathrooms, and two separate living areas. The lower floor offers widened halls and doorways for wheelchair accessibility. Two families can coexist comfortably without stepping on each other. The lower-level couch pulls out for extra sleeping, and the wraparound balcony, perfect for morning coffee and sunrises, runs the full length of the house with a large covered patio underneath. After a day on the water, fire up the brand new Napoleon BBQ, gather around the fire pit, or wind down with the Smart TV and large speaker system upstairs. 25 minutes from downtown Peterborough, 8 minutes from one of the best BBQ restaurants in the region.
