There are stunning views from the balcony of the Atlantic Ocean which you can access within 3 minutes walk from the apartment. There is also a swimming pool for your free use below. Guests can cook for themselves or use the restaurant, bar and spa facilities next door at Coco Ocean - a 5 star hotel next door. The apartment is also minutes from the heart of the tourist area. This large spacious two bedded apartment has a big balcony overlooking the ocean and swimming pool below. Head downstairs to the pool or beach for a fun filled day. Alternatively head next door to Coco Ocean to work out in the gym, eat, drink or be pampered with a Hammam, massage and spa. You can also take a minicab five minutes to enjoy all the restaurants on the tourist strip. There is access to the fully serviced and free pool downstairs. The ocean sea is under 100 metres from the apartment. Check-in and check-out is flexible. Standard check in time is after 10am in the morning. However there is a late check in fee for arrivals after 10pm. Please note if arriving in the early hours of the night ie between midnight and 5am you will need to book from the previous night. This apartment is beachfront and is also situated next door to all the facilities of Coco Ocean the top five star hotel in Gambia. Head five minutes in a taxi to access all the restaurants and bars of the tourist strip and central Banjul. You can walk downstairs to the pool and beach. Also to Coco Ocean hotel restaurant, bar and spa which is next door. Access other parts of Banjul and Gambia by taxi or hire car. Nb there is a late check-in fee of $30 US dollars for those arriving after 10pm local time. This is because the manager is a lone female and needs safe transport home. Sophie, who manages the apartment, will meet you at the apartment to welcome you. She can also send a driver to meet you at the airport for a fee of $30 US dollars. Please note - you will need some Gambian Delasi to manage the electricity. I pay for the first 500D. This will last up to three days depending on your usage of the AC etc. After that you will need to buy ‘Cash power’ cards from the local shop. You can add as little or as much as you like. Judge how much you need by how quickly you use the first 500D that I give you for free. Despite being central this apartment is relaxed and quiet at night. Just the sound of the ocean. Given the proximity to the sea nights tend to be cool. There is friendly 24 hour security and free parking within the block. Prior to your arrival a full deep clean will be undertaken of your the apartment. This will include disinfectant and bleach on relevant surfaces. All bedding provided including protective under-sheets and towels will have been washed at high temperature prior to your arrival. The apartment is a standalone apartment.
