Stay at the Barton Bungalow! This cozy, beautifully renovated bungalow sits on 7 private acres. It has a rustic feel with all the modern amenities. We have high speed WiFi so you can work from home. Enjoy some R&R in the hammock, relax by the fire pit or bbq . We are 2 miles from Walnut Mountain Park and less than 10 miles away from Bethel Woods. Try your luck at Resorts World Catskills or go for a splash at Kartrite indoor water park. The trendy Livingston Manor is less than 20 minutes away The space Our little house is our pride and joy. It’s just 420 square feet but we put love into every detail of it. The entire interior is finished in wood from the shiplap on the walls to the ash hardwood floors. The home has ductless heating and cooling for your comfort. If fresh air is more your style, then crack open a window and turn on the ceiling fan in the main space. Kitchen-Fully equipped kitchen with quarts countertop and a butcher block island breakfast bar. Everything you need including a full size stove, a refrigerator, a microwave, keurig coffee machine. Bathroom- Our relaxing shower has a rain down head and a separate handheld shower head. We provide clean towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and face soap. Bedroom- Behind the sliding barn door sits our bedroom. It is small but efficient. It has a comfortable double mattress. Store your clothes in our antique dresser or on the left half of the 8 foot closet(the other half is locked for our utilities). There is a wall safe in the closet if you wish to safeguard your valuables. Loft- Up the custom loft ladder you will find our loft. There sits a queen bed underneath a small picture window. Our loft is not for everyone, as the ceiling is low and although there are substantial handrails and grip tape, the ladder is steep. Living room- The living room is an open space with the kitchen. Next to our beautiful stone wall there is a power recline sofa to kick back and read a book or watch tv from our smart tv. Yard- Feel free to use our propane bbq and utensils. You can enjoy a nice meal on the picnic table, roast some s’mores by the fire pit, or simply relax on our swing or hammock. We have a brand new deck out back with some comfortable furniture for you to relax on and a giant connect 4 game for a little fun. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and all its amenities with the exception of the two small sliding closets in the loft area and the right side of the closet in the bedroom which contains the utilities. Please make yourself at home. Other things to note We have provided an initial supply of paper towels under the kitchen sink and toilet paper along with a few extra rolls under the bathroom sink but these may not be enough for your entire stay and you may need to purchase additional supplies. Feel free to use some firewood by the bbq for the fire pit. Enjoy
