Cozy Cabin in Coloma

We invite you to come enjoy our cozy, rustic, family home, just a short walk to the American River and Marshall Gold Discovery park. This quaint little house retains much of its 1948 charm. Come explore Coloma from this peaceful yet central location. Welcome to our home! The space This cute little cottage consists of a living room, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and one bathroom. One room has a king-sized bed with a comfortable Sealy mattress. The 'kids' room' consists of a twin bed that expands into a king, as well as a queen-sized futon. Guest access This is a shared property with two houses. You will have full, private access to the smaller house at the front of the property and the attached front, side, and fenced back yards. The driveway and portions of the larger back yard space are shared. There are laundry facilities in the garage. We usually use the rest of our garage for storage, so likely it will not be available for your use. Other things to note This is a family home. As such, improvements happen slowly amidst the demands of life. It's not perfect, but we think it's quite a special, charming place with unique little quirks, (including 'legacy art' from my daughter's wall-scribbling days ;-). It is not a luxury hotel. No manicured lawns or fancy landscaping. Just a quiet country cabin where you can enjoy the simplicity, soak up some nature, cozy up with a book, listen to the birds sing, walk to the river, and feel some respite from our hectic world.
